2. Community pharmacy contractual framework and control
of entry changes (Gateway reference 4047)
New regulations regarding control of entry will come into force at the
same time as the pharmacy contract. Two phases of workshops for PCTs will

3. Treatment costs for lysosomal storage disorders
(Gateway reference 4050)
From April 2005, treatment for patients with lysosomal storage disorders,
including enzyme replacement therapies, will be funded nationally. This
will take place through six designated centres, under the auspices of
the National Specialised Commissioning Advisory Group (NSCAG). Contact

4. NHS GP commuter walk-in centres (Gateway reference
4051)
As foreshadowed in The NHS Improvement Plan, the Department of
Health is now working with eight SHAs to develop the initial centres in
Leeds, London, Manchester and Newcastle, to open in 2005. Other SHAs will
have opportunities for involvement as the project develops.

This new guide to help establish common approaches to e-learning across
the health sector is jointly launched by NHSU and SHAs across England.
